4-Paws Rescue Shelter Sanctuary

Our main goal is to put out our best positive effort. The energy that enables us to perform life-saving work is provided by our personnel, volunteers, and foster families.

Center for Canine Rehabilitation and Cat Sanctuary was started in March 2011 by Kristen Ivey. Years ago, Kristen got active in animal welfare as a volunteer for a busy shelter and on her own, she'd saved and/or placed a few dogs with special needs. During those years, she managed a different business, but she liked her time volunteering with shelter dogs, organizing playgroups, and co-teaching workshops with other volunteers.

We are a sanctuary even though we often have a lot of cats who are very adoptable. Many of our cats are either older (8 years and up) or reserved around strangers. Despite the fact that many of them are great cats with the potential to make fantastic companions and housecats, it takes more time and careful work to win their trust and assist them in acclimating to a new environment.

The Carson Animal Services Initiative (CASI) can be useful in this situation. Founded in 2012 to assist collect money for the construction of Carson City's new animal shelter, CASI is now concentrated on supporting local initiatives that enhance the quality of life for both animals and those who care for them.

The Nevada Humane Society is a charity, non-profit group that welcomes all animals and works tirelessly to save them all. For almost a century, we have been bringing people and animals together. long-lasting change.
