Zen Cat Sanctuary

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue based in the Pittsburgh area. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome homeless, abused, and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are the Allegheny Valley's local nonprofit no-kill shelter, providing care for mistreated, abandoned, and stray dogs and cats. A tiny staff and an all-volunteer Board of Directors oversee the operation of our shelter.

The West Deer Township Dog Shelter is run by the Township as a community service. It is the only municipally run dog shelter in the area, and it is entirely staffed by volunteers. The shelter relies on community help.

The Monroeville Foundation now accepts donations for the animal shelter, which is a 501(c)(3).

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. a small-town search and rescue effort limited to the needs of the community. We are not a kill space rescue team. Euthanasia has been necessary for temper and health, but never for lack of room.
