Hoofbeats and Pawprints Rescue

We are a nonprofit organization that primarily serves the Natchez Adams County region and is dedicated to giving lost, injured, abandoned, and abused animals a home and treatment. Our objective is to adopt, nurture, and move the animals into humane environments wherever this is feasible. To accomplish our purpose, we organize fundraising events and collaborate with volunteers thanks to the hard efforts of our employees.

The City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter takes in unwanted and stray animals and works to place them in loving, safe environments.

Over 1,400 dogs and cats were taken in by us in 2020, and we worked to find them homes through adoption or transportation to other shelters, where they did. Additionally, we provided financial support for the spaying and neutering of approximately 240 owned and stray animals in the tri-county region.

We are a charity animal sanctuary and rescue group whose main goal is to improve and brighten the world.

A limited intake nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization run entirely by volunteers, Copiah Animal Refuge offers temporary shelter and medical care to stray and abandoned animals until arrangements can be made for their adoption into loving homes.
