Township Montclair Animal

For 44 years, PAWS (Pound Animal Welfare Society Of Montclair, Inc.) has provided animal shelter and rescue services to Montclair and the surrounding areas. Our group concentrates on helping New Jersey's dogs and cats in need. We maintain a well-established fostering network in addition to two small shelters (one for dogs and one for cats). The three main pillars of PAWS' goal are finding forever homes, spay-neutering, and humane education.

The Township of Bloomfield operates the no-kill animal shelter known as the Bloomfield Animal Shelter/John A Bukowski Shelter for Animals.

Before starting Rosemarie's Rescue Ranch with Susan, Rosemarie Cafiero spent 26 years as the founder and president of Orphaned Pets. During her time at the helm until her death, she took part in more than 7000 rescues.

The WOAWL seeks to prevent the needless slaughter of unwanted and abandoned animals by helping them find new homes through adoption and by promoting spaying and neutering.

An group called A Purrfect World, which is non-profit and 501 C3, is committed to helping local shelters and communities care for and educate about stray and unwanted cats. Regardless of the situation, we think that every cat deserves the best care and medical attention possible, and that no cat should ever be denied this care.
