The goal of Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization, is to rescue stray or injured animals, provide a safe haven where they can live out their lives in peace, and to share our work and the animal's stories to foster opportunities for humane education and foster a greater culture of animal rescue.
