Through our life-saving programs and services, we provide care for nearly 5,000 animals annually. Serving the Toledo region since 1884, the Toledo Humane Society is the oldest animal welfare organization in the state.

The Lucas County Pit Crew provides assistance to responsible pet owners in our community, with a focus on community cats and dogs of the Pit Bull Terrier breed, through education, advocacy, training support, spay/neuter promotion, foster care, and adoption.
