Dane County Humane Society

Allison Davies founded Shelter From the Storm Animal Rescue in 2005 in reaction to the excessive number of animals being put to death at nearby shelters.

An all-breed companion animal rescue called Underdog Pet Rescue is situated in Dane County, Wisconsin. Our goal is to improve lives by improving the bond between people and animals via community activities and outreach while also helping animals in need find permanent homes. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The Madison Cat Project helps other shelters and our neighborhood save cats. We assist hundreds of cats (and people) every year, whether it be by working with local shelters to bring in cats in need of a second chance or by providing farmers and other people who require assistance with managing their outdoor cat colonies with affordable spay/neuter surgeries and rehoming options.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with private funding, The Hugs & Kisses Animal Fund supports humane organizations with money. Its goal is to serve as the small animal rescue organizations' outsourced fundraising department.
