We at Little Yorkie Rescue are a non-profit, home-based rescue that runs entirely on contributions. Having said that, we recognize that while your intentions are good, not everyone has the financial wherewithal to make a PayPal donation or may not feel secure sending money to an unidentified rescue organization.

The goal of PetResQ Ohio is to save as many companion animals as we can from euthanasia.

In Elyra, Ohio, we established our private, independent, non-profit humane society. We proudly own and run Lorain County's biggest animal shelter.

The county's facility for temporarily sheltering stray and unwanted pets is called the Dog Kennel. Since we are a self-funded organization, no money from the municipal general fund is used to run the business.

In the state of Ohio, we collaborate with humane officers, vets, and shelters to assist dogs that are suffering from neglect, abuse, or other medical issues. We also accept dogs from high-kill facilities, neighborhood pound operations, and in-state rescues so they may create room for new admissions to their facility.

Small, non-profit dog rescue Ziggy's Friends Rescue is in critical need of caring foster homes for its pups while they wait to be adopted.
