A non-profit organization is Northeast Ohio Pet Placements & Rescue Services Of Lorain County.

The goal of PetResQ Ohio is to save as many companion animals as we can from euthanasia.

In Elyra, Ohio, we established our private, independent, non-profit humane society. We proudly own and run Lorain County's biggest animal shelter.

The county's facility for temporarily sheltering stray and unwanted pets is called the Dog Kennel. Since we are a self-funded organization, no money from the municipal general fund is used to run the business.

Thanks for visiting Safe Harbor Animal Rescue! We are a 501c3 non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide pets with another shot at a fulfilling existence. Although we mostly rescue Shiba Inus, we occasionally also rescue dogs of other breeds.
