The goal of Providing for Paws is to save animals that have been abused, neglected, or are sick or homeless. We usually carry out our work in places like Detroit that have a significant stray animal population.

The mission of Detroit Dog Rescue is to advocate for humane rescue alternatives like no-kill sheltering, foster care and adoptions, pet identification, and healthy pet population control through spaying and neutering. It also focuses on bringing attention to the plight of the city of Detroit's forgotten, homeless, and stray dogs.

The Un-Shelter is committed to building caring connections with its staff, volunteers, prospective adopters, community residents in need of assistance for their dogs, other shelters and rescues, and educational and business partners.

To provide a humane facility to house, feed, and care for abandoned, neglected, and lost animals in Wayne County, New York, as well as to create a space for humane education for county residents.
