Kauaʻi Humane Society

A non-profit group called the Kauai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Kauai SPCA) was established by concerned animal welfare activists, doctors, and Kauai business leaders.

To foster compassion and humane treatment for all animals while providing a sanctuary for those who have been mistreated, abandoned, or abused.

Based on a no-kill philosophy, the Oahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established in April 2009 with the vision that "Every healthy treatable animal will find a forever home."

The Hearts for Animals Wellness Center offers both an island holiday location for people looking for a getaway with more purpose and a sanctuary for animals in need.

Joey's Feline Friends (JFF), a non-profit, no-kill shelter and rescue group devoted to the care of neglected, abused, and physically challenged cats and kittens on the island of O'ahu, was established by Tedra Villaroz in 1998.

The Hawaiian Humane Society is committed to advancing the relationship between people and animals and the humane treatment of all animals.
