Gwinnett County Animal Shelter

Our goal is to decrease Georgia's euthanasia rate for healthy dogs and cats by implementing aggressive spay/neuter campaigns, successful adoption initiatives, and educational campaigns about responsible pet ownership.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to giving retired racing Greyhounds and other sighthounds in need food, shelter, and love while also encouraging their adoption as devoted and devoted companions.

Offers emergency pet safe lodging, veterinary treatment, pet-related safety planning, legal advocacy, a 24-hour crisis line, outreach programs, and other services anywhere in Georgia without cost to assist both human and animal victims of domestic violence in obtaining safety.

The 501c3 nonprofit benevolent organization Furkids, with its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, runs Sadie's Place, a no-kill shelter for rescued canines, as well as the largest cage-free, no-kill sanctuary for rescued cats in the Southeast.

Animal abuse, stray and nuisance animal reports, animal bites, and rabies exposure are all handled by this department. The agency also oversees a volunteer program and an animal adoption program, as well as providing temporary housing for stray, unwanted, and homeless animals at the 104 unit animal shelter.

LifeLine oversees the animal services for DeKalb and Fulton Counties, as well as a for-profit rehabilitation facility and two LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinics. LifeLine provides care for over 30,000 animals each year and has, to date, performed over 115,000 free and inexpensive spay/neuter operations.
