Laredo Animal Protective Society

To raise public awareness of animal abuse and neglect, to educate the public about the proliferation of strays, and to enhance the lives of domestic cats by spaying and neutering them in our neighborhood.

The Animal Control Division is in charge of upholding the City of Alice laws governing the ownership and control of all domesticated animals there.

A charitable shelter for animals. The sanctuary houses animals that have been saved from kill barns, kill shelters, and long-term kennels.

Every day, stray animals are collected in response to citizen complaints and during routine patrol. At the animal shelter, these creatures are impounded.
