Maverick County Animal Control

Through the use of our public channel, the department has put into place a year-round "Adopt a Pet" initiative to make pets available to our community. The greatest method to add a pet to your household is through adoption.

Through treatment, adoption, and humane education, the Humane Society of Uvalde works to improve the lives of abandoned animals in our neighborhood.

In Laredo and Webb County, LAPS will offer homeless, adoptable dogs and cats a place to stay until they can be placed in long-term homes;

To raise public awareness of animal abuse and neglect, to educate the public about the proliferation of strays, and to enhance the lives of domestic cats by spaying and neutering them in our neighborhood.
