The Red Desert Humane Society is a nonprofit organization that places animals in new, loving homes after they have been abandoned.

Animal Control, a component of the police force, is housed in the Animal Shelter. Within the city bounds, we react to the majority of animal calls.

The Green River Animal Control division, often known as ACOs, is housed in the animal shelter. It has two full-time and two part-time animal control officers.

Cats and dogs can find a warm place to sleep, play, and eat at animal shelters. Each animal is examined by a veterinarian to ensure that it has gotten all necessary vaccines and is being cared for correctly.
