The Bryan Animal Center provides care and assistance to stray animals that are brought in by Bryan's animal control or by concerned citizens from within the municipal limits.

In order to improve the quality of life for both people and animals in our community, the Aggieland Humane Society provides humane care and placement for stray and abandoned animals, fosters the human-animal link, and encourages responsible pet ownership.

Handfuls On Purpose Enterprizes Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public benefit organization. We run a no-kill animal shelter where companion animals are rescued and placed.

The Conroe Animal Shelter's volunteer, foster, transport, and rescue programs are coordinated by The Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas (ASVT), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2010.

Austin Brisco and a group of skilled wolf and dog rescuers established the Texas Wolfdog Project & Shelter in June 2013 after realizing the need for a facility where wolfdogs and other special-needs dogs could be rescued, treated, and then placed in suitable homes or sanctuaries based on their personalities. Austin's experience rescuing his own Wolfdog Timber, whose tale you can read here, served as the idea for starting Texas Wolfdog Project & Shelter.

As a no-kill shelter, our goal is to protect animals' lives and welfare through adoption, rescue, spaying and neutering, and education. We work to safeguard the wellbeing of people, children, and animals in these communities, as well as the residents of Walker County and a few other carefully chosen nearby counties.
