Hugo Animal shelter

To advocate for spay/neuter as the preferred method of treatment for all pets, to care for neglected and/or mistreated animals, to facilitate pet adoption, and to encourage ethical pet ownership through educational initiatives.

The staff at Oklahoma's only facility of its sort, Pittsburg County Animal Shelter, is dedicated to saving, preserving, and finding new homes for animals. Additionally, the shelter provides homeless dogs and cats with short-term housing.

Our main goal is to have the greatest possible good impact. The energy we require is provided by our volunteers and members. We take steps that have a long-term impact using community-driven models.

Ada, Oklahoma is home to the nonprofit Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society. Our goal is to change the negative perceptions that society has of shelters and adoption in order to preserve the lives of abandoned pets.

We are fully committed to saving, treating, and rehoming Siberian huskies from puppy mills, shelters, and abusive situations. The Husky Halfway House Foundation works with law enforcement to support victims of puppy mills and others who are suffering nearby by providing transportation, lodging, rehabilitation, and rehoming services.

Whether it's to socialize the animals, maintain the facility's cleanliness, or give the kennels food and water, volunteering is incredibly helpful to the animals. Volunteers are always needed.
