Lone Star Boxer Rescue

A nonprofit animal welfare group whose mission is to place stray and abandoned animals in loving homes.

Founded in 1994 by Dr. Beverly Harper, PhD, MPH, who saw the need for a secure location where Houston's abandoned cats may rest their aching paws while they awaited the arrival of their chosen families.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Honoring Hope and Faith Rescue, Inc. (HHFR) is dedicated to preserving the lives of those who have been mistreated, abandoned, ignored, or forgotten.

The oldest continually operating "no-kill" animal shelter in the Houston metro area is Special Pals, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare. It was formed in 1979.

HPA! 's goal is to find at-risk companion animals loving homes and preserve their lives.

In order to preserve the lives of shelter animals in Houston and the surrounding areas that are in danger, Best Friends in Houston collaborates with neighborhood shelters, animal welfare groups, and committed individuals.
