Christian County Animal Shelter

At Max's Hope Pet Rescue, we firmly believe that while people may claim to "rescue," animals actually perform the rescue themselves. When you need it most, pets offer you their unconditional affection and unspoken support.

We have been a no-kill animal rescue for more than 30 years. The Christian County Humane Society is a tiny non-profit organization based on Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. We rely on donations, membership fees, and fundraisers because we do not get financing from the federal or state governments.

Our goal is to help dogs who are lost, abandoned, neglected, or abused around the US by giving them humane treatment. Adoptable dogs are placed in loving homes with caring owners.

The Humane Society is a group committed to ensuring that animals in Muhlenberg County lead happy, healthy lives. We devote seven days a week to finding pets loving and secure homes.

Our goal is to rescue or find loving homes for every animal at this shelter.

An open intake facility for stray dogs and cats is provided by the Logan County Humane Society, an independent, non-profit organization that Logan County has contracted.
