The Hinsdale Humane Society's Tuthill Family Pet Rescue & Resource Center is a nonprofit animal shelter that offers cutting-edge care and adoption services for all animals, even those that are more difficult to place.

Each animal entering our adoption program after being saved receives a minimum of a full veterinary examination, inoculations, neutering, testing for disease and parasites, and microchipping. Due to illness, injury, or neglect, more extensive health care is frequently provided.

In the greater Chicagoland and Rockford areas, A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue is a foster-based (non-facility) dog and puppy rescue offering adoption opportunities for all breeds and mixed breeds.

Preventing animal abuse is our mission. Our adoption program enables us to give animals loving homes. Humane education can help people understand and care for all living things. Animals that are unwanted or homeless should be given shelter and care.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting dogs in finding lifelong homes.

A shelter in Oak Park with a strict admission policy is called The Animal Care League. We provide food, shelter, care, and love to stray cats, dogs, and other small animals until we can locate them a loving home.
