2000, the Humane Society of Plainfield—now Help Save Pets—was established. Over 16,000 animals have been placed in loving homes since then. Every single one of these animals received care, food, shelter, immunizations, and the opportunity to find the ideal home.

In the greater Chicagoland and Rockford areas, A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue is a foster-based (non-facility) dog and puppy rescue offering adoption opportunities for all breeds and mixed breeds.

Each animal entering our adoption program after being saved receives a minimum of a full veterinary examination, inoculations, neutering, testing for disease and parasites, and microchipping. Due to illness, injury, or neglect, more extensive health care is frequently provided.

Our goal is to provide individuals without a voice and a place to call home. to give those who have never experienced it or who have lost it love, care, and shelter. We consider all animals to be worthy. All animals that come into our care will be saved, kept safe, given medical attention, and given hope while we look for them loving, permanent homes.

Our goal is to work toward the day when all dogs and cats are loved and cared for, and pet owners have access to necessary resources to enable them to have a happy relationship with their animals.

By the end of 2018, we want to reach the big 300 and increase adoption by a whopping 75%.
