In Lea County, New Mexico, the Hobbs Animal Shelter offers short-term housing and care for stray, unwanted, and owner-relinquished animals, including dogs and cats. They make every effort to place these creatures in long-term, devoted homes.

Here at Noah's Ark Animal Shelter, welcome! You can learn more about our goals, programs, and ways to get involved in general terms here. Animals that are brought in by Animal Control or by private individuals who see them running loose are subject to a 4-day stray hold before they become the shelter's property and can be adopted.

North of the Public Safety Complex, at 501 Paddy Wagon RD, is the brand-new Artesia Animal Shelter.

Animal Services provides expert, superior, quick, and economical animal management services in an effort to guarantee the welfare of both animals and community members.

We'll provide lost and unwanted animals with refuge and care. Animals will be housed in humane settings. We will put policies in place and offer services to encourage responsible pet ownership.

Friends of Roswell Animals (FORA) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization run entirely by volunteers that is committed to preserving and enhancing the lives of dogs and cats in Roswell, New Mexico. A group of volunteers in Roswell, New Mexico, who cared about the wellbeing of the city's companion animals founded FORA in 2015. In April 2017, the IRS gave us tax-exempt status as a 501(c)3 public charity.
