Havelock Animal Shelter

To provide information about proper pet ownership, to protect, shelter, and encourage the adoption of homeless animals, and to minimize pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

Given that PAWS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit company, all donors are eligible to deduct their donations, bequests, legacies, devices, transfers, and gifts to our organization, provided that all legal requirements are followed.

The public is protected through programs created by Animal Control Services from health risks and annoyances brought on by hazardous animals.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, PAWS is eligible to receive contributions, bequests, legacies, devices, transfers, and gifts from all contributors, provided that all legal requirements are met.

The only no-kill shelter in Craven County is Colonial Capital Humane Society (CCHS), which was founded in 1978. We are dedicated to giving abandoned, abused, and neglected animals a nurturing environment while they wait for their forever homes. CCHS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies on donations and volunteer labor.

The pet adoption program at the Craven Pamlico Animal Services Center unites humans and animals. The Animal Services Center offers dogs, cats, and frequently small animals (sometimes known as "pocket pets") for adoption if you're looking for a new pet.
