Ohio County Animal Shelter

Since 1897, a NO-KILL animal shelter has housed homeless animals that are available for adoption. We improve the lives of people and pets by saving the most vulnerable animals.

Local, nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue is SparKy. Utilizing foster homes to host the animals is a novel method to animal rescue. The animals are given a loving environment in these foster homes where all of their needs are met.

The Humane Society is a group committed to ensuring that animals in Muhlenberg County lead happy, healthy lives. We devote seven days a week to finding pets loving and secure homes.

With a focus on public safety, Daviess County Animal Care & Control encourages and supports responsible pet ownership.

The Owensboro-Daviess County Humane Society was founded on the principle that all people have a duty to treat all living things with respect. In order to achieve this, we work to enhance the quality of life, health, and habitat for abandoned, mistreated, and neglected animals in the Owensboro-Daviess county region.
