Harrisonville Animal Shelter

For the protection of both animals and people, it is our mission to keep stray animals off the streets and to return impounded animals to their owners.

HELP was founded in 1996, and in March 1998 it was granted non-profit status. In our own houses, we built a rescue, foster, and adoption program where we housed the animals.

In order to guarantee the treatment of animals in a humane manner and to safeguard the health and safety of the general public in the City of Lee's Summit, Lee's Summit Animal Control enforces Animal Control Ordinances.

Established in 1944, Wayside Waifs is a non-profit pet adoption campus in Kansas City, Missouri, that offers more than 6,000 stray animals a year safe rescue, a warm place to stay, wholesome food, behavior training, and love.

Midwest Animal ResQ (MARQ) was established in 2009 as a tiny foster-based rescue organization with the goal of rescuing dogs from cruel treatment at nearby industrial-scale breeding facilities.
