We're getting ready once more with the intention of cleaning out our shelter by Thanksgiving! This holiday-themed extension of our year-round Slumber Pawty Dog Program encourages families to foster dogs, giving them a much-needed vacation from the stress of the shelter while they are at home.

We believe we can help one breed better if we concentrate our efforts, which is why Metro East Lab Rescue only helps Labs. But as we adore all canines and felines, we frequently have a number of non-labs and a number of cats in need of loving homes.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with foster homes on both sides of the river that specializes in the rescue of small breed dogs.

Through adoption, humane education, and community engagement, the Belleville Area Humane Society enhances the lives of animals in our neighborhood.

Anyone in the St. Louis and Southwest Illinois region can adopt a dog or cat from the St. Clair County Animal Adoption Center.
