A 501c3 non-profit group called Leftover Pets was founded in 2005 to lower the high euthanasia rate in Georgia shelters. We run a low-cost spay/neuter clinic in Barrow County to try to save as many lives as we can.

Pup & Cat Co. is a no-kill humane society, which means we do not put animals to death for lack of space or for financial reasons. We are committed to protecting unwanted pets and fostering adoptions.

Our goal is to assist each animal that enters our shelter in finding a new home and family. Numerous studies demonstrate how having a pet can be a tremendously uplifting experience for an individual, offering companionship, affection, and even security.

Animal abuse, stray and nuisance animal reports, animal bites, and rabies exposure are all handled by this department. The agency also oversees a volunteer program and an animal adoption program, as well as providing temporary housing for stray, unwanted, and homeless animals at the 104 unit animal shelter.

16. Animal SOS

Senior pet owners and people with permanent disabilities can get help from Animal SOS. We offer veterinary professionals and pet groomers basic medical care, food, preventatives, and transportation.

17. Shelter Dog Rescue

We are committed to saving dogs who have been abandoned or are undesired in nearby animal shelters.

18. Coco's Cupboard

We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) humanitarian society. We are in the southern crescent of Atlanta to stop the stream of abandoned dogs and kittens. We will stand up for every animal in need and put forth unrelenting effort to stop unwanted litters, surrenders, and abandonments in the future. That is our pledge.

19. To the Rescue

The U.S.A. Rescue Team is a foster-based organization that works to place abandoned pets and animals that have been abandoned by their owners in caring foster homes while we search for the ideal family for them to join.

20. BARC Humane Society

BARC saves dogs and cats from cruelty and neglect and cares for them in foster homes until they are adopted, all while attending to their medical needs.
