Shelter Dog Rescue

The Spalding County Animal Shelter is extremely pro-active and welcoming to rescues.

We collaborate closely with the animal control facility in our community to lower their population and find suitable homes for animals that have been seized and are no longer wanted.

We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) humanitarian society. We are in the southern crescent of Atlanta to stop the stream of abandoned dogs and kittens. We will stand up for every animal in need and put forth unrelenting effort to stop unwanted litters, surrenders, and abandonments in the future. That is our pledge.

Through spay/neuter initiatives, rehoming & adoption services, and community outreach & education, the Ayette Humane Society promotes animal welfare, benefits the neighborhood, and strengthens pet/owner relationships.

By enforcing the leash laws and reacting to customer concerns, we work to keep the neighborhood safe. In addition, we have adoptable animals that need homes.
