The Barn on Baseline Animal Shelter and Adoption C

Over 3,400 animals find refuge at Tails Humane Society, a managed admission animal shelter, every year. We pledge to give every animal the time and medical attention they require to have the best chance of being adopted.

We are a group of concerned citizens from DeKalb, Illinois, who have come together to work on reducing the number of feral cats in our neighborhoods. We have trapped and sterilized countless feral cats and kittens since 2004.

All breeds of dogs and cats are housed at the non-profit, 501(c)3 Animal House Shelter. When homeless animals enter AHS for a variety of reasons, such as abuse, neglect, or abandonment, we rescue, care for, and find homes for them.

A non-profit no-kill animal refuge is called Just Animals. Since 1997, we have provided service to Grundy and neighboring Counties. Donations and fundraisers provide us with all of our funding.

The mission of the 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue group Survivors for Strays is to save stray, abandoned, and abused animals.

The goal of Young at Heart is to give senior dogs and cats a secure environment where they can age in peace, compassion, and company.
