The Hancock County Animal Shelter has resumed operations under the direction of the county commission. All animals in Hancock County will receive compassionate care and treatment because to the efforts of hardworking, compassionate staff members and volunteers.

The Wheeling Island Greyhound Adoption Center is a group devoted to helping greyhounds find devoted homes. Volunteers spread the word to the public through community service projects that these purebred ex-racing dogs make wonderful, devoted companions and are available for adoption into suitable homes.
