Our goal is to give Santa Paula's abandoned and stray animals the support, innovative programs, and community education they require to recover and find new homes.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-breed, no-kill dog rescue and adoption group is the Canine Adoption and Rescue League (CARL). Numerous thousands of unwanted, sick, abandoned, and homeless dogs have been saved and put by CARL since 1996.

We are a grassroots, non-profit cat cafe' whose main purpose is to assist Ventura County's and adjacent areas' homeless cats in finding forever homes.

The animals that come into the shelter system are very important to Ventura County Animal Services. While some animals arrive joyful and healthy, others might be afraid, unwell, or have behavior problems that require our devoted teams to fix broken bones and heal broken hearts.

Paw Works Animal Rescue is a charity group that has established a no-kill policy for stray cats and dogs.

An open-admission municipal animal welfare organization, Ventura County Animal Services saves lives. In addition to all unincorporated areas of the county, we offer contract services to Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Simi Valley, and Ventura.
