Catskill Animal Rescue

The Sullivan County SPCA Animal Shelter is a No-Kill facility that places animals in devoted, lifelong homes.

Three friends who had spent a lot of time working for other rescues decided there was something lacking from the typical rescue paradigm, so they started Wayward Ranch. Animals are not flawless, and in the conventional shelter system, any behavioral issues become worse the longer the animal is kenneled or imprisoned waiting for a home.

A family-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Hollywood Dog Rescue works to place puppies from various organizations that are thought to operate high-kill or overcrowded shelters.

Pets Alive is a no-kill animal shelter that is about 1 1/2 hours from New York City in the Catskill Mountains foothills. One of the first no-kill groups in the US is Pets Alive.

Through adoption, outreach, education, and rescue, we hope to create a more humane community.

A small group of individuals with great hearts but tight budgets started the Humane Society of Middletown in 1959. We are a privately run animal shelter whose ONLY source of funding is the kindness of our patrons.
