Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County

In order to find homes for the hundreds of stray and surrendered animals who enter our facility each year, we also put animals up for adoption.

ALWAYS DEVOTED TO EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY, FOR THE VOICELESS, OUR MISSION IS TO FIND LOVING HOMES FOR OUR SHELTER ANIMALS.

Our pets have undergone sterilization and deworming procedures. All pets are sent to their owners microchipped and prepared for rabies tag registration with the county.

Promoting animal care through awareness-raising, spaying and neutering, and finding them permanent homes.

In Logan County, Illinois, there is a shelter for stray animals called the Humane Society of Logan County. The HSLC began operating as a foster-based shelter and was incorporated as a not-for-profit (501c3) corporation in April 2006.

Logan County Animal Control is under contract with the City of Lincoln to offer animal control services to Lincoln residents.
