The City of Coppell Animal Services

The Coppell Humane Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt rescue group with a 501(c)(3) status. We don't have a specific location where we work; instead, we use foster homes.

Our mission is to: Protect animals and people. We create a safe environment for wild and domestic animals to live in harmony with people. Teach people to care about animals. We help people understand animals, take responsibility for pets, and keep animals and people safe. Inspire animal advocacy. We encourage people to adopt pets, ensure animal welfare, and help us make a better world for animals.

The DFW Humane Society was established in 1967 and is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter committed to giving abandoned and unwanted animals a second opportunity through adoption.

A 26,000-square-foot, cutting-edge animal care complex was built by the City of Irving in 2010 and shared with the DFW Humane Society. It contains cat condominiums with window views, a dog park, and roomy kennels.
