Green River Animal Shelter

We are a non-profit animal rescue based in central Kentucky. We try to prevent animal cruelty, offer education and support for spaying and neutering all pets, and search for the best homes for the animals in our care.

We are a modest but excellent shelter. Every animal is given every opportunity in the world.

The Humane Society of Wayne County is an animal shelter that offers temporary refuge and care for stray, unwanted, and owner-relinquished animals, including dogs and cats, in Wayne County. It is situated in Monticello, Kentucky.

Through spay/neuter programs, education, and outreach, we give animals in need humane care and loving homes while working to decrease the number of unwanted pets.
