In order to check for rabies and report obnoxious wildlife, Cullman County Animal Control collaborates with The State of Alabama Wildlife. Animal Control in Cullman County does not set or lend out wildlife traps.

A non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue group serving Marshall County, Alabama, and the surrounding region is called Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue, Inc. We are committed to saving companion animals that have been abandoned for any reason, including those that are in public shelters where they face a high risk of being put to death, those that have been abandoned by their owners due to challenging circumstances, and those that are in danger of abuse or neglect.

The majority of animal shelters are city or county-run businesses that frequently handle owner surrenders and manage stray animals.

At RBCAS, we are mobilizing the neighborhood to aid Rainbow City's animals. We are committed to providing the animals in our shelter with excellent, humane care. Please stop by during these times if you're looking for your lost pet or want to adopt a pet.

The Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center was established on April 30, 1973, with the goal of reducing animal suffering and improving their quality of life by providing humane and educational services to the people in our neighborhood. Dr. James Isbell, a local veterinarian, and trustees Cindy Forsman, Pat Martin, Donna Parker, Mary Camp, Carroll Crane, Debbie Johnston, Matthew Gilbert, Elaine Gilbert, and Earl Garrett were among the HSPRAC's founding members. Sen. Malone fought for the creation of equitable and sufficient animal sheltering facilities for all communities through legislation that was passed on behalf of the state's animal shelters. The HSPRAC was founded with the intention of providing an alternative to existing countywide programs.

To establish a caring shelter where volunteers and staff collaborate to foster an atmosphere where all people and animals are treated with dignity.
