The goal of Bideawee is to improve the link between people and animals by providing the finest possible care for both pets and their owners.

The goal of the North Fork Animal Welfare League is to foster compassion for all living things, to shelter animals in need, and to encourage ethical pet ownership through adoptions and other forms of animal welfare in our neighborhood.

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, open admission, no kill facility that depends on the kindness of its donors and volunteers to care for the community's homeless animals and find them loving "forever homes."

The staff at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter & Adoption Center is committed to aiding the township's stray animals.

With the aim of rescuing and rehoming unwanted and abandoned animals from private households and governmental shelters and placing them in loving and responsible homes, Almost Home is made up of many committed and compassionate volunteers.

In 1994, Port Jefferson Station on Long Island became the home of Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue. Our concern about the tragically big domestic animal surplus planted the seeds for our expanding animal shelter.
