The Erath County Humane Society's goals are to locate homes for adoptable pets, care for stray and lost animals, and reconnect animals with their owners. In order to reduce pet overpopulation and give animals a safe haven while they wait for their forever homes, we collaborate closely with our neighborhood.

The City of Lampasas and the County of Lampasas joined together to create the Lampasas Animal Shelter to house abandoned and unwanted animals.

"Dogs come from the City Kill Shelter in the City of Llano, Texas," says Llano Animal Rescue.

At the Animal Shelter, we put a lot of effort into trying to find homes for dogs and cats. We think that every animal deserves to be loved and cared for by a family. Please think about adopting an animal as opposed to buying one from a breeder.
