Texas Pet Rescue

Through the adoption of healthy dogs, collaboration with the neighborhood animal shelter, and public education on humane dog care, Brownsville Animal Defense seeks to make the Rio Grande Valley a no-kill neighborhood.

The Brownsville Animal Regulation Care Center is dedicated to raising the standard of living for every person in our larger neighborhood.

There are numerous animals up for adoption at the Isabel Y. Garcia Animal Shelter. We charge $65 for adult dogs, $80 for puppies, $35 for adult cats, and $50 for kittens when adopting an animal.

The Animal Adoption Program, which debuted in 2009, is a public service advertising campaign aimed at encouraging prospective adopters to think of the shelter as their first stop when searching for a "new best friend" and spreading the message that pets in shelters are great and lovable.

We operate as a 501(C)(3) nonprofit. More animals enter our facility every day. Please assist us in preparing them for their FURever home.

There are currently roughly 70 animals living at the RGV Farm Sanctuary, which has been operating for a year.
