Breckenridge Animal Shelter

We provide services to Graham, Olney, and Young County as an open intake shelter. Our mission is to offer abandoned animals in our neighborhood a safe shelter. For the animals in our care, we give comfort, enrichment, socialization, food, shelter, immunizations, and other preventative care.

A non-profit group called All Kind Animal Initiative was founded in Abilene, Texas, with the goal of enhancing local animal care.

A group of animal lovers came together in the late 1960s to attempt to better the circumstances of the abandoned animals that were roaming the region. Later that year, the organisation was formed under the name Taylor Jones Humane Society.
