Through advocacy, instruction, and support, we enhance the lives of both people and animals.

We remove animals from shelters that would be deemed unadoptable because of ailments or disabilities that are treatable. We accept owner surrenders on occasion.

We are not just a place to stay. Through adoption and rescue, we are committed to saving lives.

The goal of the Allen County Animal Control Department is to safeguard people and property by consistently and fairly enforcing the county's animal nuisance statutes, regulations, and ordinances.

Since 1897, a NO-KILL animal shelter has housed homeless animals that are available for adoption. We improve the lives of people and pets by saving the most vulnerable animals.

Through spay/neuter programs, education, and outreach, we give animals in need humane care and loving homes while working to decrease the number of unwanted pets.
