Animal Rescue League of Boston

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is a steadfast protector of animals in need and is dedicated to preserving their well-being in environments and homes.

We are committed to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters in Central Arkansas and elsewhere that have been abandoned, mistreated, or abused. We support regional canine surrenders, shelters, and specialized rescue operations outside of Central Arkansas even though our rescue efforts are concentrated there.

The Cat Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill organization made up entirely of volunteers (with the exception of our shelter director), whose main goal is to rescue mistreated, unwanted, stray, neglected, and injured cats and to make it as easy as possible for them to find loving, permanent homes.

Families in underserved locations can obtain cheap animal care resources through our community outreach program.

The division of Animal Care and Control provides affordable pet wellness services. They carry out animal-related rules and ordinances. Inspections are conducted by the division at licensed animal kennels, veterinary clinics, pet salons, and special animal displays. They look into incidents of animal maltreatment as well.

We promote spay and neuter programs as a way to control pet overpopulation, and we continuously work to be the top community resource for education on proper animal welfare. "Our mission is to advocate for animals by providing safety until home placement of those in our care," the organization's mission statement reads.
