The nearby Fur The Love Of Dog Animal Sanctuary is a reputable establishment that offers shelter for many animals.

Our goal is to rescue both owner-released and homeless cats and dogs whose owners can no longer care for them because of challenging circumstances. As we try to find new, loving homes for our cats and dogs, we provide these animals with a place to live with compassion, dignity, and hope.

The City of Kingsport, Tennessee, receives animal control services from Petworks Animal Services, formerly known as SBK Animal Control Center. We also provide area adoptions. We are committed to giving the lost and abandoned animals in the area the finest care possible.

We are here to help lost, relinquished, neglected, or abused animals who all deserve a second chance with a caring family. Each animal in our shelter receives a cozy bed, food, comfort, medical assessment, medical care, and vaccinations.

We are pleased to offer Carter County residents a Community/Feral Cat program. Through this program, locals will have a cost-free opportunity to have community/feral cats spayed or neutered, their ears tipped, and their rabies vaccines.
