The goal of the City of Mobile Animal Services is to balance the requirements of both people and animals in terms of health, safety, and welfare. Through our mission, we hope to: raise awareness of responsible pet ownership among the general public; aggressively investigate cases of animal cruelty; show compassion and care for unwanted, abused, and abandoned animals in our City; administer dog licenses; provide adoptable animals with a second chance at finding a forever home; and humanely euthanize animals when necessary and appropriate.

Located in Troy, Alabama, the Pike Animal Shelter can house up to 75 animals. The Pike Animal Shelter wants to promote a good relationship between the locals and the cats and dogs that might be available for adoption. In order to maintain a healthy environment inside and outside the shelter, our facility regularly collaborates with county and city animal control officials as well as members of the general public.

The Humane Society of Chilton County is a 501(c)(3) independent non-profit organization with an elected board of directors. The Humane Society of Chilton County (hereafter, "HSCC"operating )'s hours are created to guarantee that all animals are adequately and compassionately cared for and that the general public has enough time and opportunity to transact business there.

Our goal is to find permanent homes for the stray, abandoned, and owner-returned animals in our community, set the bar for responsible pet ownership, and inform the public about the advantages of having their animals spayed or neutered. We gladly promote our organization by taking part in local events since we are involved in our community.

An initiative by the County and City to house stray and abandoned animals is called the RCPCASA.
