Bell County Animal Shelter

To ensure the general health and safety of Bell County's residents, it is crucial and required to handle stray, sick, and hazardous animals. The Bell County Animal Shelter was established to manage unwanted and sick animals and to advance the welfare of all animals.

The municipal shelter serving Travis County and the City of Austin is called Austin Animal Center. No of their age, condition, breed, or species, we accept animals in need of shelter.a

All dogs and cats that are housed, harbored, or maintained in the City and are three (3) months of age or older must be vaccinated against rabies.

"We are a non-profit Boxer rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming facility, and while we specialize in Boxer breeds, we will never turn away an animal in need! All donations are welcome!"

BMAR takes the undesirable, problematic, and unwanted pets. All of these big, happy, glossy dogs are showing kindness, medical needs, attention, and care.
