The Louisiana SPCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the welfare of Louisiana's companion animals through promotion, protection, and education. We have an influence on more than 73,000 homeless and companion animals each year as the state's oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization.

Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue was founded specifically to lessen the load on our publicly funded animal shelters, educate the public about the value of spaying and neutering, and prevent cruelty to animals.
