Louisiana SPCA - Plaquemines Parish Campus

The goal of the Plaquemines Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is to rescue unwanted and homeless pets through sheltering and adoption into caring homes, while also improving community education and services to promote responsible pet ownership and prevent the need for pet rescue in the future.

The mission of PAWS, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is to assist Plaquemines Parish's animals.

Through creative programs and services, the New Orleans SPCA was established to end animal cruelty, neglect, and fighting. Our region-wide mission is to lessen and ultimately end suffering among domestic and wild animals.

The objective of the Louisiana SPCA is to promote, protect and improve the well-being of Louisiana's companion animals. We are the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state.

Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue was founded specifically to lessen the load on our publicly funded animal shelters, educate the public about the value of spaying and neutering, and prevent cruelty to animals.
