"Humphrey House is a non-profit animal shelter that finds loving homes for abandoned animals.

The largest animal shelter and pet adoption facility in Maryland is run by BARCS, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. As an open admission facility, we take in any abandoned, mistreated, misused, lost, or surrendered animals who come knocking at our door.

They primarily assist in picking up and relocating stray kittens and occasionally cats from the street. They occasionally accept owner surrenders.
