Hearts United for Animals is a cutting-edge, no-kill shelter and sanctuary that has won a Smithsonian Award for its commitment to easing the suffering of domestic animals. Over 12,000 dogs have been saved from puppy mills by HUA, over 14,000 patients have received low-cost spay/neuter services, and temporary home is available for animals belonging to families suffering domestic abuse.
