Neonatal kittens, or newborns up to four weeks of age, are the focus of The Foster Kitten Project's work with orphaned and abandoned animals. Due to the extensive 24-hour care these kittens require, many shelters are unwilling to accept them, making them one of the greatest groups of animals put to death each year in the United States.

The nonprofit organization Nebraska Border Collie Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 organization. Border Collies and Border Collie mixes in and around Nebraska are rescued, rehabbed, fostered, and placed by NBCR.

We are a small team of rescues in the Omaha region. Special people give of their time and love to support these animals. While they wait for their forever families, our animals find a short-term loving home with our foster parents.

Assistance will be given when the public calls the police department at 402-296-3311 with any complaints or difficulties regarding animals.

Our goal is to improve cat care through programs, inclusive experiences, and rescue efforts.

All gifts to Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland (BBRH), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, are tax deductible. In Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa, our group is committed to saving and rehoming basset hounds and beagles.
